COURSE DESCRIPTIONS
All classes are by reservation only
You will need Acrobat reader available here, for viewing and printing registration forms and instructions. These are fillable forms and you may type in your answers and then print them off and sign in the appropriate places. These registration forms DO NOT transmit online.
Instructions for each class tell you absolutely everything you need to know about what to bring to class and will answer any questions you might have regarding rules and policies as well as where to mail the registration. Just click the link under each class description that says, "Download Registration Form and Instructions" to review the information.
BASIC HANDGUN SAFETY & PROFICIENCY CLASS FOR BEGINNERS This 3 hour course is designed for beginners. It covers Safe Handling, Parts and Operation of Revolvers and Semi-Automatic Firearms, Ammunition, Shooting Fundamentals, Criteria for Selecting a Handgun, Storing and Transporting a Handgun and Maintenance of Firearms. Firearms, Ammunition, Eye and Ear Protection and targets are provided for this class. You will receive a free one year membership to The Bullet Hole for attending this class. If you have your own firearm, you may bring it. Consists of Classroom and Live Fire Exercises. Reservations for this class must be made by phone only. A verbal reservation is required before submitting the Registration Form and Deposit. Registration Forms and Deposit must be received by the specified deadline given when making the verbal reservation to hold your seat. Course Fee: $81.50 |

This course is a permit qualification course and is conducted in accordance with the rules and regulations set forth by the Office of the Attorney General of the State of Kansas. All instructors have been approved and are licensed by the Office of the Attorney General in the State of Kansas to teach this course. This 8 hour State required course must be completed before you can apply for your concealed carry permit. This course provides the required training to obtain a concealed carry permit. This class consists of training in Safety, Gun Handling and Operations, Marksmanship, Storage, Transportation and Maintenance of Firearms, Legal Issues and Concealed Carry Laws. You must pass a 25 question written test and a range proficiency test. Consists of Classroom and Live Fire Exercises. Equipment needed is firearm (.45acp maximum caliber), 50 rounds of ammunition (NO reloads) and eye and ear protection. Course Registration Form and Full Payment must be received to reserve your seat in this class. We do not take verbal reservations for this class. NRA, KSRA & ACTIVE DUTY MILITARY members get 20% discount - proof of membership/military ID must accompany registration Course Fee: $125.00 |

Call for details. Private Lessons must be scheduled by phone and are tailored to individual needs. Minimum two hours. Rate is payment for time with the instructor. All other expenses such as ammunition, targets and range fees are the students responsibility. Call us to discuss your individual needs and we will assist you in deciding what would be most appropriate for you.
