Patricia (Patti) Stoneking – Owner & Master Instructor

Patricia is certified by the National Rifle Association (NRA) as a Training Counselor/ Pistol Instructor with a Personal Protection rating, Chief Range Safety Officer and Refuse To Be A Victim Program Instructor. She is certified by the State of Kansas as an approved Concealed Carry Instructor. Patricia has successfully completed training at top gun shooting schools, Chapman Academy of Practical Shooting and Strategos International. She has also trained with world renowned firearms instructors Ken Hackathorn, Massad Ayoob and John Farnam. Patricia serves as President of the Kansas State Rifle Association, the state sanctioned affiliate of the NRA and also serves on the Attorney General’s Advisory Committee for Concealed Carry issues. She is a competitive shooter participating in Action Pistol shooting matches. The NRA honored Patricia with the 2008 Marion P. Hammer Woman of Distinction Award for her leadership in the firearms training industry and activism in protecting Second Amendment rights. In 2010 she was honored by the KSRA and received the Outstanding Volunteer Award. She is a Patron Life Member of the NRA, Life Member of the KSRA, Life Member of the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms as well as being a member of the Second Amendment Foundation and Gun Owners of America. Patricia manages the officially sanctioned training program at The Bullet Hole Shooting Range in Overland Park, KS and is the Owner of Target Master Shooting Academy, LLC.

Bob Stoneking – Master Instructor

Bob is an NRA Certified Handgun Instructor with a Personal Protection rating and is certified by the Attorney General of the State of Kansas as a Concealed Carry Instructor. He is also a Hunter Education Instructor. Bob has completed training at Chapman Academy of Practical Shooting where he received a Master Marksman rating. Bob has successfully completed Tactical Handgun courses with world renowned Firearms Instructors Ken Hackathorn, John Farnam, Tom Givens and Rob Pincus. Bob serves on the Board of Directors at Tri-County Rod and Gun Club, is a member of Mill Creek Rifle and Pistol Club and participates as a competitive shooter in bulls-eye leagues and action pistol matches. He is a Patron Life Member of the NRA, Life Member of the KSRA and member of Gun Owners of America. Bob has been an avid hunter all of his life hunting both small and large game and is an active wildlife conservationist.

Jim Scott – Master Instructor

Jim is an NRA Certified Instructor with a Personal Protection rating. He is also certified by the Attorney General of the State of Kansas as a Concealed Carry Handgun Instructor and by the Department of Wild Life and Parks as a Kansas Hunter Education Master Instructor. Jim has successfully completed the Combat/Tactical Handgun Course with world renowned Firearms Instructor Ken Hackathorn. Jim serves on the Board of Directors at Tri-County Rod and Gun Club, participates as a competitive shooter and match director for the action pistol matches, and also serves as range master for live fire at hunter education classes. Jim has been an avid hunter all of his life, hunting both small and large game. Jim has 18+ years instructing many different disciplines.

Greg Burris – Instructor

Greg is employed with the KCKS Police Department and just recently enjoyed his 34th anniversary with the Department. He has served on the Departments Tactical team for numerous years, the Firearms Training Unit as Assistant Range Master and is currently in the CSI Unit. He is a Life Member of the NRA and is a current Kansas Hunter Education Instructor. He is also a current NRA certified Range Safety Officer as well as a Law Enforcement Certified Instructor in the disciplines of Handgun, Shotgun and Patrol Rifle. He is a certified armorer for the Glock handgun as well as the AR-15 platform rifle, certified by DPMS. He has attended classes in the past such as the IACP Advanced Tactical and Hostage Rescue Operations Course, KC MTOA H&K MP5 Submachine Gun Course, US Dept. of Justice/ FBI Submachine Gun Instructor School, and belonged to both the MTOA and NTOA, Tactical organizations. He is a current member of both Tri County Rod and Gun Club and Mill Creek Rifle club and is a current State of Kansas Concealed Carry licensee. Fall is his favorite time of year and the beginning of Dove season kicks off the hunting year. He regularly travels to western Kansas for both Deer and Turkey with a small group of regular hunting buddies.

Brent Thompson – Instructor

Brent is an NRA Certified Pistol Instructor with a Personal Protection rating. He is licensed by the Attorney General of the State of Kansas as a Concealed Carry Handgun Instructor.  Brent is an NRA Certified Range Safety Officer and a Kansas Hunter Education Instructor for the Department of Wild Life and Parks. He is a member of Tri-County Rod & Gun Club where he participates as a competitive shooter and range officer for the action pistol matches and serves as a range officer and instructor for live fire at hunter education classes.  Brent has been an avid hunter all of his life, hunting both small and large game animals.

Joe K. Orr – Adjunct Instructor

Joe is an NRA Certified Handgun Instructor with a Personal Protection rating.  He is also licensed by the State of Kansas as an approved Concealed Carry Instructor.  Joe is retired and was a Firearms Instructor for the Lenexa Police Department for ten years.  He has been an avid hunter and competition shooter all his life.  Joe has hunted Africa, Alaska and all over the United States.  He also served as a Pilot for TWA, the United States Air Force and the National Guard.
